Am I eligible?

Question: I have been working as a supervisor for a Building company for a number of years. I have not had any formal management training, however I am confident in planning and delivering small construction projects. My daily duties require me to deal with project stakeholders, delegate tasks to other employees and complete a range of reports and documents such as quotes, variation requests, status reports, budgets and work schedules. Can I receive credit for this?

Answer: Yes, very likely, however you will be required to apply for Recognition or Prior Learning (RPL), or alternatively when you enrol in the course ask for accelerated progression.

Question: Last year I started a business course through TAFE, however due to work only completed one unit on Risk Management. The Project Management Diploma I am interested in has the same Risk Management unit. Do I have to complete this module again?

Answer: No! You will get credit transfer based on sighting of your Statement of Attainment, provided the context of the unit meets that of the Project Management Risk unit.
